Start the loop from the trail entrance to the left, walking clockwise
around the circle. There should be a sign which says: "Shamokin
Springs Nature Preserve Loop / To Old Appalachian Trail" If you don't
start at this side, this clue won't make any sense at all.

Six bridges, roots of a gnarled old tree,
Two stones where two stones would not be.
Inside, under, and behind,
Megan's Magpie you will find!

Go up the branch to the Old AT
On the right, big red-marked tree.
Across the path now you must jump
Find a mid-sized rotting stump.
Behind it, under leaves and rocks
You'll find Mousie in her Box!
